'P. Runway' recap

Are you feeling fierce?

It's tranny time! (I had actually been looking forward to "Project Runway" all week for the first time in a while.) Wednesday's episode was everything I could have hoped for plus glitter, feathers, sparkles and neon fabric.
The episode started with season 4 contestant Chris March entering in a blonde, big-chested Viking ensemble. Hotness.
Out strutted the drag queens, who took a few minutes to properly introduce themselves. With names like Anita Greenkard, Hedda Lettuce, Farrah Moans and Miss Understood, the ladies were ready to rock the runway.
The designers were told to be theatrical and over-the-top. Some seemed slightly horrified. Others looked ready to win the drag race.

Random thoughts
It seems like all of a sudden everyone wants a piece of Tim Gunn. One of the trannies tried to get him to holla at her. Gunn has always had a special place in my heart, so they all better back up off him. I'm not sure which moment was funnier last night, when Gunn was giving advice on how to tell off a tranny or when he said Blayne's design looked like "a pterodactyl out of a gay 'Jurassic Park.'"

What's with immunity this season? It's here today and gone tomorrow. Maybe the producers are trying to be unpredictable, but it's straight up confusing.

Kenley's trash talking ways got under my skin again. She better recognize.
Other people that need to stop talking period: Major Payne Blayne. He made Leanne (and the rest of America) want to puke. Someone needs to sit him down and explain to him why "licious" and his designs are never going to catch on.

What a drag
Getting back the Wednesday's episode, it was strange when the drag queens showed up for the fittings sans makeup and fake boobs. They were packing 'tude, though.
I relished the catfight between miss thang Hedda Lettuce and my main man Suede, who is apparently in contact with his deceased gardener grandfather. It was cute when they made up at the end.

Too perfect for words

I was stoked that RuPaul was the guest judge. (I had the opportunity to interview him before this year's Black and White Ball at Club XS.) He looked fierce as usual.
Joe walked away the winner for his pink pantsuit. Daniel finally got cut for his neon flamenco dress.

I'm kinda glad to say goodbye to Daniel. He was a whiney and pretentious. Haven't found one a want to really root for though. On my auf list are Blayne and Stella.

Yeah, Daniel was whiney. He seemed sad all the time, like he thought everyone was just picking on his designs or something.
I don't think Blayne's designs can last much longer.
