Shlesinger wins 'Last Comic Standing'
Even though the "Last Comic Standing" Web site isn't updated, I guess it's old news by now that Iliza Shlesinger won.
I'll admit, I was a little shocked when they booted Jeff Dye. He took third place. I thought for sure his model looks and his hilarious sets would have given him the win. I would have voted for him.
But alas, I think the producers set Shlesinger up for the win having shown only head-to-head competitions that she won and leaving it up to America to vote after that. Although she is very talented and funny, I don't think she deserved to take the title.
I guess it makes for better TV to have the first female win "Last Comic Standing" after six seasons.
