Six Flags of America

six-flags-america-baltimore.jpgMy favorite pastime is riding the roller coasters at America's Amusement parks.

Hershey, Dorney, Six Flags Great Adventure, Cedar Point...oh how I love them all.

A few years ago, I discovered Six Flags America in Bowie, Md. It's a little more than an hour from my house and a change from the norm. And CHEAP. It's $25 for a ticket if you purchase online. I think a season pass is $50. I had off yesterday, so I went.

Don't forget your bathing suit. Hurricane Harbor is crazy, but we forgot our suits and I got yelled at for trying to go On Tony Hawks Half Pipe in my jean shorts. Next time.

Kaleb, my 12-year-old brother, got me to go on the spinning rides, something I haven't done since I was a teenager. The bucking bull ride called Rodeo was insane and consisted of spinning two different directions and going back and forth. He loved it.

I rode Superman alone, but missed on out on the awesome Batwing because it was broken. It's not the best amusement park in the nearby area, but definitely worth a look.

I found your blog searching on yahoo and hoped to contact the author of this post. I had some further questions about this.
