'The Dark Knight' curse?

There is something suspicious surrounding the latest Batman movie, "The Dark Knight." While it's breaking box office records and getting rave reviews, those involved with the film are dropping like flies. Could the movie be cursed? Let's examine the evidence before jumping to any irrational conclusions.
1. Most people might have forgotten about this, but back in September, a Batman stunt man died when a vehicle he was in crashed while on a test run. Strike one.

2. The world was stunned when 28-year-old Heath Ledger was found dead in his New York City apartment back in January, the result of an overdose on sleeping pills. Ledger stole the show this summer as the sinister villain, Joker.
In a New York Times interview in November 2007, Ledger talked about his Joker role in the Batman flick:
It is a physically and mentally draining role -- his Joker is a "psychopathic, mass-murdering, schizophrenic clown with zero empathy" he said cheerfully.
Creepy. Strike two.

3. Batman/ Bruce Wayne actor Christian Bale was arrested in connection to an assault. No charges have been filed, but the situation was super sketchy. Strike two and a half.

4. Batman's pal Lucius Fox, aka Morgan Freeman, was injured in a weekend car crash in Mississippi. He's expected to recover, but that definitely equals strike three.
Curse or no curse, if I was Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal or Michael Caine, I'd watch my back.
