Academy Award-winning actor and Hollywood ledgend Paul Newman died Friday after a long battle with cancer. He was 83.

Some of his most famous roles included "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," "Cool Hand Luke" and "The Sting."

Newman was one of my favorite actors. (He wasn't hard on the eyes either.) Besides "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," I loved Newman in "Absence of Malice." What was your favorite Newman movie?

"Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" and of course, "Cool Hand Luke."

"I could eat 50 egss...."

Definitely "Cool Hand Roof." I'd give up my glamourous cubicle life to work on a chain gang next to him.

"The Sting." Had to watch it for a class, and I loved every minute of it!

Definitely, CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, with Elizabeth Taylor. Two beautiful people and lots of raw emotion.

The Capitol Theatre in downtown York is going to be showing a Paul Newman tribute film on Saturday, Oct. 11th at 7:30pm. Vote for your favorite film at www.strandcapitol.org. Deadline to vote is this Friday, Oct. 3. Bring a Newman's Own food product to be donated to the York County Food Bank.
