Warm fuzzies
My favorite "P. Runway" moments are watching Tim Gunn interact with the designers outside the work room. It's always a hoot to see him bonding with the "family and friends." I wish Tim Gunn would come by and ring my bell one day.

I was impressed with the designers' looks. After a sub-par season, it seems that they finally pulled out all the stops. The fact that the Parsons posse had to create a bridal look was icing on the cake.

Ready to wear
Korto's collection was solid. Her wedding dress was a bit drab, but the other colors and shapes she used were interesting and ethnic. It might have been too much woman for Tim Gunn to handle because he distinctly told her he didn't want a "snatch shot." Yikes! Korto had a lot more than clothes including the most compelling back story, cutest kid and sickest beats.

I love the colors in Leanne's collection. Her looks seem to be the strongest technically and conceptually. The waves are a nice theme and, hey, she wore her "I'm so indie" glasses again. What gives? I almost fell out of my chair laughing at the sight of Tim Gunn and Leanne on a bicycle built for two. She left her b/f in the dust, but I would for Tim in "P. Runway" minute.

It seemed that Kenley had a slice or two of humble pie after she got told off for her attitude. But I still preferred nails on a chalkboard to her voice. I actually was impressed with her collection. I liked that she painted some of the fabric and her wedding dress was flirty, fun and fifties, natch.
I wasn't feeling the rope-necked dress, though. Too "The Crucible." Where were her amigos?

Jerell's collection was very sparkly, frilly and overdone. It was pretty much a hot mess. He also ripped off Carrie's wedding dress from "Sex and the City: The Movie" designed by Vivienne Westwood. His sister could have been one of his models. Good looks run in the family, but why on God's green earth would Jerell think a fauxtee was hot. Someone get that man to a barber.

Hmm....

The final countdown
After the awkward reintroduction of Kenley. It was nice of her to apologize again, but I doubt she was sincere. The group buried the hatchet and bonded over a few bottles of bubbly.

Then, the designers were told to present their wedding gowns and (fake gasp) design a bride's maid dress in a day. (Note to contestants: There's always a twist at the 11th hour.)

Based solely on the wedding and bride's maid portion of the program, Kenley and Leanne had to advance. Their looks were cute and modern. (I think Michael Kors might have lost his marbles, because I didn't see a similar dress in Alexander McQueen's Spring 2009 collection.

Korto and Jerell totally missed the mark. (Note to designers: 99 percent of brides wear white.) I was sad to see Jerell go, but I think Korto's collection was better. Just one more episode left. Those ladies betta bring it to Bryant Park.

Ok, I missed the show. But I suspected Jerrell could go a little overboard and get the ax.
