The original "American Idol" winner Kelly Clarkson, as well as returning country star Trace Adkins, will perform at the York Fair this year, York Fair officials announced Tuesday.

Clarkson hit the stage Sept. 11 at the Toyota Arena for the first time, and Adkins stops by Sept. 15, according to York Fair vice president Gene Schenck.

Clarkson is scheduled to release her fourth album, "All I Ever Wanted," March 10. The first single off her new record, "My Life Would Suck Without You," spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this month after leaping from No. 97 in one week, the biggest jump in the chart's history.

Adkins has had several singles top the country Billboard charts, including "You're Gonna Miss This" and "Ladies Love Country Boys."

Tickets for both shows will go on sale at 8 a.m. Saturday at the York Fair box office, 334 Carlisle Ave. in West Manchester Township, by phone at 848-2033 or online at www.yorkfair.com.

Tickets for the track, plaza and center grandstand will be $44 for Clarkson and $35 for Adkins. Seats on the side track, side plaza or side grandstand will be $38 for Clarkson and $30 for Adkins. Adult gate admission tickets are $5 each. A convenience fee is charged for Internet and phone orders.
