At 8:55 last night, I turned on the television, changed the station to NBC and settled in for a long half hour of "The Office." When what to my anxious eyes should appear? A re-run.
I've been tolerating it the past two weeks. It appears that business is just as slow at Dunder Mifflin as it is elsewhere.
But NBC promises that next week will be a new episode. According to the network's Web site, Kevin and Dwight will host a "Lonely Hearts" party. Meanwhile, Jim and Pam will go on a double date with Phyllis and Bob (can you say "awkward?"). The episode, "Blood Drive," is scheduled to air at 9 p.m. I'm looking forward to it.
