Go Green in York

York shops present Go Green in the City from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 18 on Beaver Street between Philadelphia and Market Streets. The event promotes buying local and being environmentally conscious.

Local musicians including The Tamboureens, A. D. Chandler and Waitin' on a Train will perform in the parking lot of the White Rose Bar and Grill, and vendors will sell environmentally friendly art. For details or to participate, contact Kimman's at 854-0440 or Sweet Melissa's Dream at 854-2608.
