Bromance at its best . . or worst

I knew full well what I was getting into as I bought my ticket for "I Love You, Man." So I braced for a really bad movie. Really bad.

And . . . it wasn't so bad. It was kind of endearing, actually. I could've done without the gross-out humor, but I suppose some of it was funny.

Klaven is an awkward, dorky dude who can't really relate to most guys. The problem is . . . he needs a best man for his wedding. He sets out to find a guy bud, and just as he's about to give up after some cringeworthy "man dates," he meets Sydney Fife (Jason Segel). They connect over fish tacos (ew) and rock out to Rush in Fife's "man cave."

The plot is pretty predictable, but you won't really pay much attention to that anyway. You'll just keep laughing over Rudd's and Segel's nonstop antics and stupid one-liners.

"I Love You, Man" is a filthy, heart-warming, idiotic and, dare I say, bromantic film all rolled into one.
