One down. Dozens more to go?

If you were like me and had to get some shut-eye last night, catch clips from the first episode of "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" above. Critics gave Fallon, who's notorious for being silly and snickering at himself, a break. We'll see how long their benevolence (and the show) lasts. (I don't have much faith in the man who bungled the classic cowbell skit.) Follow the post to read about what Fallon did during taping.

Fallon even tweeted between breaks to appease the Twitterati and reveal his deep thoughts:

1st show done. I was a bit nervous. But overall really happy. Phew!

I'm not really a fan of his. I can't remember too many things he's done that were super funny, and I wondered how he got tapped to have his own show. I guess we will see.
