Save this date: 9.9.09. "The Beatles: Rock Band" hits shelves. Play instruments modeled after those used by John, Paul, George and Ringo to perform a catalogue of Fab Four tunes.

Save this much money: The software costs $59.99, standalone guitars run $99.99 and the limited edition bundle will set you back $249.99. It's sure to sell like hotcakes. Read on to learn more.

Chances are the game won't look quite like this, but I still feel queasy. At least this is the coolest way a band can sell out, right? How much was the deal worth? Would Lennon and Harrison have approved? Should I quit questioning this? Share your thoughts.
