The new Fox comedy series "Glee" premiered after American Idol last week, but the series doesn't air until the fall. (What a tease.) But the pilot was enough to create a buzz. (Think "Fame," "High School Musical" and "Freaks and Geeks" rolled into one hilarious show.)
An optimistic teacher (Matthew Morrison) tries to transform McKinley High School's Glee Club (ragtag group of misfits) to help them make it to a national competition. In the meantime he has to deal with jocks, his scary wife (Jessalyn Gilsig) and the intimidating cheerleading coach (Jane Lynch). The show also features an outstanding soundtrack.
