It appears to be a trend that whenever Justin Timberlake hosts "Saturday Night Live" something really funny comes out of it.
This past weekend, he teamed with Andy Samberg for another hilarious digital short. The two form a ridiculous looking early-90s R&B duo for this faux music video about what to get their mothers for Mother's day.
The answer may surprise you. Or maybe not given the title of the song.
Gotta love the subtle detail of Timberlake and Samberg eating roast beef sandwiches during the video.
This video was a sequel of sorts to "D*ck in a Box" skit from Christmas of 2006. It became an overnight Internet video sensation, as I suspect this Motherlover video will.
Here's what I love best about these songs: Aside from their absurd premise, they sound exactly like hit pop songs, replete with Timberlake's best falsetto. They're actually kind of catchy.
