York Little Theatre announced its 2009-10 season:
Here are some highlights:
"12 Angry Jurors" runs Jan. 15 to 24. The intense, one-set production is about a 12-man jury who deliberates the guilt or innocence of a defendant. It was adapted into the 1957 movie "12 Angry Men."

"Hairspray" hits the Mainstage July 9 to 25. The local version probably won't star Zac Efron and John Travolta in drag, but I still can't wait to hear York's Tracy Turnblad sing "Good Morning Baltimore."

YLT hosts its first Junior Drama Competition Aug.13 to 22. There will be an adjudicated show of original short scenes and one-act plays written by local youth.
