Live Nation 'no service fee:' savings or scam?

| | Comments (0)

nation.jpeg After jacking up ridiculous and unexplained service fees Live Nation threw summer concert-goers a bone by offering "No Service Fee Wednesday" (or so it seemed).

On the first day of the promotion (June 3) more than 5 million lawn tickets were offered without service charges. However, fans still had to pay a $6 parking fee and in some cases facility and charity fees.

Live Nation runs its "No Service Fee Wednesday" again June 10. This time, fans can buy any ticket for any Live Nation amphitheater free of service charges. But parking, various venue fees and taxes may still apply. The offer is only valid at Live Nation venues, including Hersheypark Stadium. I wonder how much that actually saves?
