The Revolution holds the second annual Battle of the Bands at 7 p.m. June 26 at Sovereign Bank Stadium, 5 Brooks Robinson way in York.
During the Revolution game against the Somerset Patriots, each band will receive 90 seconds between innings to play a song. The crowd will vote on which band they liked the best. The winning band will receive $2,500 as well as an opportunity to play again at Sovereign Bank Stadium. The second place act will receive $250 and a credit with concert production company Production Express and the third place act will win skybox season passes. Last year, the Mark DeRose Band won the chance to open for Blues Traveler.
