Alan Jackson has remembered when, taken some advice from Jimmy Buffet (it's five o'clock somewhere), spent time way down yonder on the Chatahoochee and taught his daughters how to drive.
To celebrate 20 years ago when he signed a deal with Arista Records, Jackson's performing a free show Wednesday at Nashville's Cadillac Ranch.

He performed as a repeat act at the York Fair from 1991-97. In fact, I sang along in the audience in 1996 as he belted out "Gone Country" and "Chasin' That Neon Rainbow." I even brought home an AJ souvenir (thanks, Dad!) - an oversized T-shirt complete with tour dates.
