You know those amusement park rides your friends dare you to get on? The ones that where you can barely keep your eyes open because you're terrified you might die?
That's what watching "Bruno" is like. It's sheer horror, but you laugh anyway. Warning to the easily offended, weak-stomached and always-politically-correct persons: You will hate this movie.
But I'm sure you knew that.
What's really scary and shocking about this film isn't necessarily Sacha Baron Cohen. It's the people he interviews.
Like the parents who were willing to do anything to have their kids in the spotlight. They gave permission to let their babies "operate antiquated machinery" and were comfortable putting them around wasps and "lit phosphorous." I assume these people weren't acting, but it's hard to tell what's real and what's not in "Bruno."
Still, you can't help but laugh at the ridiculousness of it all.
The movie isn't biased - it's offensive to every group of people.
But don't think you can suppress your laughter as Bruno tries to get former Israeli and Palestinian leaders to agree on Hamas, except he confuses Hamas with hummus. Watch the video clip below.
