Take part in a green fashion show at 5 p.m. Oct. 1 in downtown York.The event is part of the Arts Block Festival, which will be held prior to the 2009 Governor's Awards for the Arts.
Area middle- and high-schoolers can design and model fashions using found objects and recycled materials. Participants must attend the following meetings at DreamWrights Youth and Family Theatre, 100 Carlisle Ave. in York: Registration, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 3; Information session with parents, 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sept. 17; Catwalk practice, 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sep. 29.
