Filmmaker John Hughes dies at 59

CORRECTION Obit John Hughes.jpgJohn Hughes, who brought us the fun-loving Ferris Bueller, the snarky crew of "The Breakfast Club" and the hopelessly unhip Griswold family, died of a heart attack at 59 on Thursday.
While I'm not an out-and-out Hughes fanatic, as a kid my family loved to watch and re-watch "American Lampoons Vacation" on a Friday night.
