Messiah College and WXPN present Iron and Wine with special guest Roman Candle Sept. 12. The music starts at 8 p.m. in Brubaker Auditorium in the Eisenhower Campus Center, One College Avenue in Grantham. Tickets are $25.
Iron & Wine's latest album, "Around the Well," features some of the earliest sessions and never-released recordings. Their music's been feaured in movies including "Garden State" and "In Good Company." (Check out the video for my favorite Iron and Wine song "Lion's Mane.")
Roman Candle's latest album, "Oh Tall Tree in the Ear," one of the best albums of 2009 so far by Paste Magazine.
