1. Rang in season six of "Project Runway." (Tune into a "P.Run" podcast this Friday.)
2. Caught some of the Little League World Series. (A tradition since my brother's All-Star days.)
3. Received my September issues of Vogue and InStyle. (Neither 500-plus-page mag fit in my mailbox. Gotta love fall fashion.)
4. Threw a "Great Gatsby" party (complete with mint juleps, citrus, costumes and jazz.)
5. Recovered from the party just in time to catch and comprehend "Mad Men." ( I smell another party theme.) (Photo: Amazon)
