The cereal serial

Five links to start your day off right: Part of a complete, balanced breakfast.

  • WARM-FM (103. 3) did not renew Kelly West and Bobby Quinn's contracts. In an e-mail, West said the split was amicable and invited fans to keep in via Facebook.

  • Dan Rather's lawsuit against CBS was thrown out. (I'm sure he can enjoy retirment without that extra $77 million.)

  • DJ AM died accidentally from a lethal combo of drugs. (Here they are in alphabetical order: Ativan, Benadryl, cocaine, Hydrocodone, Klonopin, Levamisol, OxyContin, Vicodin and Xanax. Yikes.)

  • It's Banned Books Week. Check out the American Library Association's 2008 list of challenged books. (Now who would call "Gossip Girl" sexually explicit?)

  • Justin Timberlake might be dating Rihanna? (Guess he was single for, like, three seconds.)

  • Check out new 30 SoHo condos at 30 S. Howard St. in York. (A room with a view.)
