After waiting in line for an hour and spending another hour waiting in the theater, "New Moon" was welcomed to the silver screen of Cinema Center on Simpson Ferry Road in Camp Hill with applause.

The theater was playing the movie on six screens, all at midnight.

Hundreds of teenagers, grown women and a surprising number of teen boys watched as the words "NEW MOON" crawled across the screen.

We watched the opening dream-sequence, which ended with Bella waking up in bed.

And then, just as Charlie came in with a birthday present, the film skipped, and we watched the film melt.

A shocked and confused silence filled the theater. The lights came on and a few people ran into the hallway to see what happened.

We found out that the film that had been rolling in four of the six theaters had indeed melted. People were trying to fix it. They didn't know how long it would take.

We gave them about 20 minutes to fix it. Then we got a refund and drove home at 1 a.m.

According to the Patriot-News, many of the fans waited for more than an hour and eventually got to see the movie.
