Nothing new under the screen: Summer movie preview

Original thought is dead. If it’s not a remake, adaptation, sequel or 3-D version, than the movie probably won’t make big bucks this summer. Exceptions to the rules could include:
Friday: “Babies” is a look at one year in the life of four babies from Japan, Mongolia, Nambia and San Francisco.
June 18: “I am Love,” the story of love affairs and power struggles within the wealthy Recchi family in Milan. Tilda Swinton and Flavio Parenti star.
July 16: “Inception” imagine a world where technology exists to enter the human mind through dreams. Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard star. (Watch the trailer below.) Read the list of other coming “attractions” on the jump.
