What you need to know about SXSW 2011

It’s almost spring. That means it’s time for South by Southwest, the annual music, film and interactive festival and conference in Austin, Texas. The film portion runs through Saturday. The music portion kicks off today and runs through Sunday. About 2,000 rock and pop acts are slated to play the 25th fest. York Daily Record photo editor Eileen Joyce is headed to the festival.
