Check out new exhibit at Art Institute of York

Submitted; A hanging metal sculpture at the Art Institute of York.

Angie Anderson of York’s Economic & Community Development Department and former Art Institute of York contact, filled me in about AI’s new gallery show:

The work is by several artists from around the region. Patrick Sells from York’s Salvaging Creativity has some amazing pieces in the show. Several artists are from Philadelphia and well known in the interior design field. Warren Muller … has a spectacular shop in Philly called bahdeebhadu. This show will be up for a few more weeks and … and (is) something most unusual for this area.

Also from the The Art Institutes:
They are joining forces with Military Families United to offer a new scholarship program to the spouses of Armed Forces members. The Art Institutes will offer four $25,000 scholarships per year for recipients to study at one of The Art Institutes schools, including The Art Institute of York. Deadline for entry is March 15.
