Gettysburg’s Majestic Theater hosts Movie Memories series

See classic films Movie Memories series at the Majestic Theater, 25 Carlisle St., Gettysburg. Films screen 7:30 p.m Wednesdays June 6 to Aug. 29. Tickets are $6. Titles are from the American Film Institute’s list of the 100 best films of all time.

Before the film, Majestic Theater director Jeffrey Gabel provides an introduction and informative talk about the production and its stars. Visitors can also enter free raffles for items donated by local businesses. For details, call 717-337-8200.

Movies include: “Gunga Din,” “Oklahoma,” “Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory,” “Born to Dance,” “Double Indemnity,” “Strike Up the Band,” “Red River,” “Bringing Up Baby,” “Tarzan the Ape Man,” “State of the Union,” “Pride of the Yankees” and “Annie Get Your Gun.”
