— York Mayor Kim Bracey and Chad Gracey of the band Live will bartend to raise funds for York City School Distric music programs 5 to 7 tonight at Maewyn’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, 110 N. George St., York.
— The York Beard and Mustache Club hosts the Beards and Brews Pub Crawl Saturday at various bars in downtown York. [Wristbands are $1 and can be bought 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Cherry Lane near Mudhook Brewing Co. The event is limited to 100 people.]
— Sample offerings from several area breweries at the second annual Summer Brew Fest at the Chameleon Club, 223 N. Water St., Lancaster. [$10 to $50]
— Get your bluegrass fix at the 52nd annual York County Fiddlers’ Convention 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at the fiddlers’ headquarters on Route 74, south of Red Lion.
— It’s Summerfest Saturday in the Abbey Bar at Appalachian Brewing Co., 50 N. Cameron St., Harrisburg. Misstallica, Moon Hooch, The Jellybricks, The Line and others will perform. Tunes start at 7 p.m. [$10]
— Maps & Atlases perform 8 p.m. Saturday at The Depot, 360 W. Cottage Place, York. York-native group Cold Fronts will also perform. [$10 to $12]
— Scissormen are coming back to York County. They’ll play Saturday night at The Race Horse Tavern in Jackson Township.
— The 2012 Long’s Park Summer Music Series wraps Sunday with a concert by jazz pianist Michael Kaeshammer. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the park, 1441 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster. [Free]

— Take a trip down The Strip and enjoy the colors Saturday and Sunday at the 2012 Shrewsbury Flower Show in the Shrewsbury Fire Hall, 25 W. Forrest Ave., Shrewsbury. This year’s event theme is Viva Las Vegas! [Donations accepted]
— Coast down the York County Heritage Rail Trail Saturday during a moonlight bike ride. The 9-mile trek starts at 8:30 p.m. at the Railroad borough parking area, along 851 West. [$5 per person; free for kids younger than 12 years old]
— Have a laugh at JuDee Brown’s Homecoming Comedy Show “You Already Knew” 9 p.m. Saturday at the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center, 50 N. George St., York. [$15 and $20]
