It’s beginning to look a lot like it’s time for holiday shopping around York. Check out a few offers at city stores and ticket and membership offers at local venues:

The Pullo Center is offering Black Friday savings through Monday. Processing fees will be waived for all ticket and gift card purchases. For details, call 717-505-8900 or visit

Flair Fashions, 102 N. George St., York, will have a Black Friday sale 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Jewelry, handbags, shoes and clothing are all on sale. Free layaway is available though Dec. 22. An online sale runs 11:50 p.m. Nov. 22 to 11:59 p.m. Nov. 25. For details, call 717-925-0593 or visit

The York Revolution is hosting a Black Friday sale 7 a.m. to noon. There will be discounts on ticket packages and merchandise. Park Street Pantry, 24 N. Beaver St., York, will be open Black Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Customers will get a free organza gift bag with any oil or vinegar purchase. New holiday chocolates have arrived. M&T Bank will sponsor the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center for the next four seasons. The bank pledged to match 50 percent of all gifts from new members received by Jan. 1. (i.e. If the Strand raises $20,000 from new members, the bank will donate $10,000.) For $50, Strand members qualify for early show notification and early ticket access to all future shows. Shop small Nov. 24: Small Business Saturday — a day devoted to local businesses and small-town economies — falls between Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Visit to view a list of participating shops near you. For those who live in downtown York, there are about 60 small businesses in Central Market, 34 W. Philadelphia St. Growing Up Green, 266 W. Market St., York, hosts its second annual Stocking Stuffer Extravaganza Saturday featuring small gifts for less than $10. Pay for nine items and get the 10th free.
