The Cove hosts Party For Marty benefit Saturday

Mike Males of emailed me this week about his friend Marty Glotfelty, who plays bass at The Cove’s open mikes and with local bands including One Misses Hippie and Analog 25. Males said that Glotfelty was diagnosed with squamous cell cancer several months ago right after a heart attack.

To benefit his bud, Males helped organize the Party For Marty 5 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Jan. 12, at The Cove, 1500 S. George St., Spring Garden Township. Anyone who is interested in donating items or services to be auctioned off or raffled at the benefit can contact 717-887-2133 or 717-793-3771. Those who want to donate can visit Glotfelty’s page.
