Update: This event has sold out.

The next Chef Challenge is slated for Jan. 23 in YorKitchen, the shared commercial kitchen space at Central Market, 34 W. Philadelphia St., York. If you are a fan of “Chopped” or other culinary competition shows, this event is for you.

Two local chefs — Chef Erik Gotwalt of Front Porch Café and Chef Andrew Barnes of The Busy Bee — will use a mystery ingredient to create three courses. Diners will get to try all six dishes and decide which chef is the champ.

The fun starts at 6 p.m. The event is BYOB. Tickets cost $55. Processing fees apply. Seating is limited. For details and tickets, visit yorkitchen.com/chef-challenge114. The next Chef Challenge will be in March.
