After waiting in line for an hour and spending another hour waiting in the theater, "New Moon" was welcomed to the silver screen of Cinema Center on Simpson Ferry Road in Camp Hill with applause.

The theater was playing the movie on six screens, all at midnight.

Hundreds of teenagers, grown women and a surprising number of teen boys watched as the words "NEW MOON" crawled across the screen.

We watched the opening dream-sequence, which ended with Bella waking up in bed.

And then, just as Charlie came in with a birthday present, the film skipped, and we watched the film melt.

A shocked and confused silence filled the theater. The lights came on and a few people ran into the hallway to see what happened.

We found out that the film that had been rolling in four of the six theaters had indeed melted. People were trying to fix it. They didn't know how long it would take.

We gave them about 20 minutes to fix it. Then we got a refund and drove home at 1 a.m.

According to the Patriot-News, many of the fans waited for more than an hour and eventually got to see the movie.

Ya snooze, ya lose. Perez Hilton reported that all 2,150 midnight Friday "New Moon" screenings have sold out. Take a deep breath. It looks like a few movie theaters (Regal 13 at the West Manchester Mall included) added more showings. But tickets probably won't last long. Fans can also catch "Twilight" at 9 p.m. Thursday at Regal 13. Look for FlipSide before the show. We'll be chatting with fans and tweeting. What are your premiere plans? (Photo: AP; Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson pose the UK 'New Moon' release Nov. 11.)

Attended an Arlington apartment party. (Somebody spiked the cider. Yum.)

Visited the new Court of Valor memorial. (I also got a Civil War history lesson at Prospect Hill Cemetery.)

Saw the Eagles loose yet again. (I still miss those Phils.)

(Excuse us while we get a little Kanye up in here.) Instead of penning silly love songs, being perfectly primped or throwing fake fits (copy editor Jess told us about Swift's stupid chair-throwing antics at the CMAs) Gaga takes real risks. She walks the line between freakish and fabulous in ultra-high heels.

Case in point: Her new single "Bad Romance." (We think of it as the anti-silly love song.) The video exploded onto the Web Monday. It's mesmerizing to say the least. We can't wait to hear the rest of Gaga's EP "The Fame Monster," which drops Nov. 23. So what if she'll appear on the scandalous soap "Gossip Girl" Nov. 16? Swift belongs on the Disney Channel.
