The H1N1 vaccination debate

| | Comments (0)

Like many others who live in York County, I got the letter from school last week about the vaccinations for H1N1 (aka swine flu). I've heard some arguments against the vaccine, but I'm going to have my son, myself and my husband vaccinated.

Since Ava is allergic to eggs, she can't get vaccinated against any type of flu, which concerns me. Anything I can do to keep the rest of us healthy, I will. Last winter, we visited the ER twice when she developed breathing difficulties. I don't want to risk adding flu complications on top of that.

What about everyone else? Are you getting your kids and/or yourself vaccinated? Why or why not?
