Co-existing with your Christmas tree

tree.jpeg Alright, enough talk about turkey. Let's move on to Christmas.

We will be picking out our X-Mas tree this weekend -- it's great because the tree farm, Montandon Acres, is right across the street. Plus they have a tire swing and various animals running around. And they drill the trees to fit our stand. Love 'em.

But before the evergreen comes inside, we'll be doing a little cleaning to make sure that Ava is comfortable.

According to the National Christmas Tree Association, a real X-Mas typically doesn't produce pollen in December. But it can gather dust and mold and other things from being outside all year long. The NCTA recommends a good hosing down and air dry before it comes inside.

I also read that putting the tree in a mixture of water and bleach before you bring it inside, or wiping the trunk with a bleach solution will help with the mold spore issue.

Here's a recipe to help extend the life of your tree.

Houses and cars are quite expensive and not everybody is able to buy it. However, loans are invented to aid different people in such hard situations.
