Find the cheapest gas in York

| | Comments (0)

Crude pushes up past $74 a barrel as I am writing this, you can bet gasoline will follow in real-time. Here is a bit of high tech repackaging of information to help you find the best price at the pump.

Using OPIS, the only comprehensive source of U.S. wholesale and retail petroleum prices, MSN Autos tracks the price of 90,000 daily retail gasoline prices using fleet credit transactions. Plug in your zip code and it will give you the price that people are paying at about 30 gas stations in the York Area. This information is also layered on a map.

It’s not 100% accurate because it looks like stations don’t post information every day, but it’s still a fascinating use of repackaging information
