Solar electric robotic lawn mower
Husqvarna is producing a robotic, solar powered, mulching lawn mower that is guided by a buried cable so it doesn't eat your flower beds.
Alarmed if it leaves it parimeter and It won't shave your cat because it senses obstacles.

Or try a regular push mower... They're cheap. They don't pollute your lawn with gas, and they give you a good body workout. You also don't have to worry about getting your toes cut off by running it over your foot, unless you really try.
