The Archaeological Society of the Northern Chesapeake holds a dig at the Coulsontown Cottages in Peach Bottom Township. The stone and slate structures were built by early Welsh settlers.

This video has deep meaning to me, for me this is where it all began. My G grandfather, and his family lived there from about 1903 till the 1950`s in one of the welsh cottages. I actually have a picture of my G grandfather,mother and her cousin sitting out back. My G grandfather was Amer P Founds aka Amos P Founds. They lived there rent free all those years in exchange for upkeep. They were dirt poor. Amos/Amer was also the caretaker @ Slateville Cemetary.
