Treasures of Heaven Community Church gathers to give thanks in a country that allows them to worship openly.
For the small congregation, which meets in a Dover Township home, such laid-back, community gatherings add to the feeling of family that binds the church, members said.
"It's like home," said Marina Maslow, 45, a Ukrainian immigrant who lives in Mount Wolf.
About half of church's 20 congregants hail from Russia or former Soviet bloc nations such as Belarus, members said.
