You can edit, resize, frame grab, title, and remove audio on the Motorola Droid X.

From the physical Android menu key select Edit > Advanced

DroidXvideoedit.jpg

Once in the video editing mode press play and the progression of the video will be displayed by the yellow bar. Tap the play button again to pause.

Tap the left bracket button to clip the start of your video. Continue playing the video until you want to clip the end of the video. The film buttons above the timeline pull the corresponding bracket to where the video is paused.

The yellow brackets can be touched and dragged to a new position on the timeline
Double tapping the yellow timeline will fast forward and rewind.

When you are all done editing, tap the physical Android menu key again for a menu to Save.

Before saving you are given the option of previewing and renaming. The new video will be a new file name by default.

Options for resizing from HD include, 640 x 480, 320 x 240, and 176x166 (standard for text messaging MMS)

This gives you the option of shooting everything in HD video and then editing on the fly for MMS. You can just let the video record and edit later.

You also have the option of resizing before you edit.

Titling gives you the option of font size, color, background color and duration. The title is placed at the beginning of the video and can be removed before the final save.
