Staff Sergeant Mitch Court, of Shrewsbury Township, was just looking for a way to save on his electric bill.
After doing some research, Court said, he learned that the cost to install a system was more than he could afford and the equity in his home was not enough to finance it.
He tried one more company, Aztec Solar Power, based in King of Prussia.
“We’re gonna do this for nothing,” the company told Court, according to David Rarrick, its executive vice president.
