An easy way to wreck the new “clean” look of Google Calender

Google added banding to colors where the new skinny font on darker colors makes a packed Google Calender hard to read.

I’m not sure if that makes it more of a mess than it already was. My head wants to cock sideways and follow all the lines.

Maybe if they separated the times from the event it wouldn’t all bleed together, but that would be the old calender.

I took great joy today breaking the new “clean” design by tiling a solid, high contrast background color.

I created a solid square of color in an image editing program. Go to the gear > settings > Calendar background:  Choose Image. Upload then tile.

You can create any color. I chose black for maximum breakage of the “clean” design.

Here is my background image if you would like to sully it yourself.
