The newspaper in Shelby County, Ky., said some officials had at least expected to hear a trimmed-down list of possible relocation sites for Harley’s York operations by the end of September.
To the best of our knowledge, the list has not yet been trimmed.
In the meantime, the efforts here in York to keep the plant local keep plugging along. The company has part of a local plan to restructure the plants, and negotiations are expected to start within the next two weeks.
