Red Lion Area Community Services’ Kids’ Kafe summer lunch program begins June 11 and concludes Aug. 13. Children must be registered in advance.
Approximately 100 youngsters pick up extra lunch and snack items each Monday through the summer recess from school to help supplement their nutrional needs.
Donations are needed each week, beginning June 1 through the first week of August. Items needed include individual-sized, kid-friendly items such as cereals, jello/pudding/fruit cups, juice boxes/bags, milk boxes and snacks. The program also needs loaves of bread and packages of cheese or lunch meats.
Donations may be brought to the office, 15 First Ave., Red Lion, from 9 a.m. to noon weekday mornings; or call the office to arrange an after-hours delivery or pickup.
