About this blog
"Let's Move York" is a grassroots initiative formed in response to the York newspaper series "The Fat Battleground" which reported that York was ranked as the fourth most obese metropolitan area in the country.
Our mission is to motivate the community to lead more active lives and improve their health and well-being by following the "rules" listed in the book, "Younger Next Year" by Harry Lodge and Chris Crowley.
This blog will be a forum for introducing and expanding on those rules to help fellow York countians get and stay active, be healthier and feel connected in our journey to MOVE YORK ... off the list.
