Vote for Mitrick and Kilgore
Lori Mitrick and Doug Kilgore are the only candidates for County Commissioner who support the proposed Susquehanna Heritage Park on the scenic and historic hills at Lauxmont Farms. They understand the significant educational, recreational and economic benefits that this Heritage Park can offer York County citizens. There are pro-development lobbyists, however, who have been waging a relentless propaganda campaign against Mitrick and Kilgore.
These lobbyists are trying to whip up public sentiment against the Heritage Park by using false claims about eminent domain abuse. This is a smoke screen to hide their real agenda which is to gain control of the County government and stop the Heritage Park which stands in the way of their plan to bring sewer lines to Lauxmont. They want to open up this region for sprawling, road-choking housing developments and create multimillion dollar profits for themselves at considerable expense to taxpayers.
To help them accomplish their goal, these pro-development lobbyists hope to elect developer Steve Chronister along with his cousin Doug Hoke or one of the other anti-Heritage Park candidates. To prevent this take-over of our County government by these self-serving developers I strongly urge voters to vote only for Mitrick and Kilgore.
