Democrats Senate stunt
Once again the Democrats who lead the Senate proved that they are very effective in wasting time and taxpayer money. The theatrical staging of an all night snooze fest to debate the war in Iraq went over like a lead balloon. The Democrats have only been able to create the lowest approval ratings for Congress in the history of approval ratings.
The Democrats have not been able to build a coalition that will move the country forward on such vital issues as national border security, support for our troops fighting to protect our freedoms, and to pass a budget. Instead they plan slumber parties.

Although Harry Reid believes that our fighting men and women can not win the war in Iraq. A loss in Iraq will mean more than a loss for our American troops. The people in Iraq have a hope for a better life with freedom along with self rule. America troop pull out will only escalate the fighting. Iran will back one faction and Saudi Arabia will back another faction. The people of Iraq will be caught in the middle and be the real losers. The Democrats must believe that with an American troop pull out in Iraq the country will magically become a peaceful nation. Apparently, they need to get more sleep not less.
