Slonaker fits the job
The most recent outrage coming from the Clerk of Courts office in York County (“Outrage over posted IDs”) should be the final straw for its (for lack of a better word) manager Don O’Shell. His continued ineptness in this position and his continued “mistakes” can not be tolerated by the people of York County. He needs to be removed from office before he can do anymore harm to the individuals and the court system of York County.

I know in the upcoming election this is not a “glamour” position, but it is critical. The Clerk of Courts plays a very serious role in the criminal justice system of York County. If you want to see a change from the top down, it has to start somewhere and this position is the best place to look.
Yvonne Slonaker is an excellent fit for this job. She is protégé of Curly Holtapple, perhaps one of the most respected figures in York County government history. Yvonne could easily fix the problems that O’Shell has caused and erase embarrassing headlines like those found in your newspaper yesterday. She launched her campaign based on fixing the problems within the system that O'Shell has time and time again created.
People of York County, this should be a no-brainer on Nov. 6.
