There is an alternative
Notice to all York county residents: hang on to your hats!. With election day fast approaching, and at least three commissioner prospects vying for election who have backgrounds directly related to real estate development, you can have the pleasure of witnessing the potential rape of our county green space, by the forces of Rayac (the real estate commission); Steve Chronister, our absentee commissioner; Doug Hoke, his cousin; and Ned Grove all are, were or are, sympathetic to this county's realtors.

Chris Reilly, the fourth candidate, sad to say, previously led the county into serious financial problems with his involvement in the pension plans now costing us a fortune, not to mention being "at the helm" when the Taj Mahal new county building was being planned. So there you have it -- you can trade off two caring, intelligent, foward thinking, conservation conscious commissioners, Mitrick and Kilgore, for a quartet that will sell out the county to the real estate developers.
But wait... there is an alternative. Vote for none of the above. Hit the Write in Button and keep our two dedicated commissioners on the job. The choice is yours.

Jane, I am glad to see writing by someone who knows the truth. Sadly, a write in campaign has little chance of success, but I am going to write in Mitrick and Kilgore. If I didn't I would not be able to sleep at night. York County is in for a shock when Chronister is in charge with Hoke and Reilly. None of them knows what it means to be a true public servant.
I regard all Realtors (R) as potential antitrust criminals whose trade group the National Association of Realtors has successfully maintained the "standard" anticompetitive 6% commission rate. Ask your reps in Washington why this price-fiixng is still permitted.
Jane-they were voted out by the people, what part of this isn't clear? The only candidate to vote for is Ned Grove, a realtor, not a developer. He has served this county in various capacities all his life and did a great job. He is the only candidate that has a proven record of reducing taxes while serving as Mayor of Dallastown. I believe he is the best choice, given the choices we have.
